Printing Press

Working with Starwood Capital and Principal Hayley, our brief was to develop a contemporary brasserie using seasonal scottish ingredients.

Insight Hospitality, The Principal Hotel Co. and Plus Agency came together to develop the branding collateral for the new restaurant and bar at the Principal Edinburgh. The name – Printing Press Bar and Kitchen and its brand identity are a nod to the capital city and the restaurant site’s rich literary heritage. The name derived from buildings historical use, as this site was a printing press.

Working with Starwood Capital and Principal Hayley, our brief was to develop a contemporary brasserie using seasonal scottish ingredients. The brasserie was also used as a breakfast space for hotel guests, and events where necessary. Insight Hospitality, sourced seasonal Scottish menus. Aided to create a front of house, kitchen and bar design, by interfacing with the interior design team. Insight Hospitality, recruited a new head chef and restaurant team, developed a training programme, comms programme and critical path for launch. 

 

With fabulous food and genuinely lovely staff, the Printing Press is a restaurant worth tearing yourself away from your favourite novel for.
