Des’ Digest: Spring Edition

Mambow

The past couple of months we have been supporting Chef Abbey Lee with her new counter space in Market Halls in Peckham. Abby’s wealth of knowledge in South East Asian cuisine has been a joy to be part of. Market halls we are sure will be a very exciting feature for Peckham foodies this summer. With an amazing mix of food and drink outlets to add to Tonkotsu and Forza wine. Follow Mambow here.

Messums Wiltshire

We have also been down in Wiltshire collaborating with Messums gallery. This incredible location hosts a The Mess Restaurant and Bakery . We were briefed on redefining the offering at The Mess and to relaunch the space into an artisanal and bustling environment that gallery goes can attend after a day of soaking in the art on show. We have been working with the in house team on menu development, refining the retail offering and private dinners. It is looking like an exciting year ahead down in Wiltshire, watch this space.

K&K hotels

K&K have been keeping us busy, with The Picasso in Barcelona, Cayre in Paris, and The George in London. All three hotels are in fabulous locations and are looking like amazing opportunities. We are working with an array of consultants, architects, IDs, etc to rebrand and reposition these spaces over the next year.

Isibani

Contemporary West African Bar and Restaurant in Knightsbridge. Following our recent research trip to Lagos we were inspired by the local recipes and food DNA. Although, we are adding our twist for a July opening.

Our Spring Spot Suggestions…

We are always on the lookout for inspiring to eat, Emily from our consulting team visited Sucre this weekend and she was blown away… ‘The food at Sucre was delicious, the Tortilla de papas with nduja, aioli was sensational as was the Braised beef cheek. The space was designed so beautifully with the decanter chandeliers and the open kitchen created a really exciting atmosphere. I would really recommend heading over.’

Stay tuned for our Summer Update.
